About

Our Mission Statement

The mission of Dover Cooperative Ministries Council, Inc., is to serve as the 501 (c) (3) which provides oversight
and administrative support to the Dover Friendly Kitchen, the Dover Food Pantry, the Dover SHARE Fund
and Grab and Go.

Our History

The Dover Cooperative Ministries Council, Inc. was formed in the early 1970’s to serve the greater Dover
area. It was their stated purpose then, as now, to:

Create a forum for the exchange of ideas and views among different faith practices in order to
better understand, love, and care for one another. Since its founding, the entities that make up the Cooperative Ministries have grown to be core helping
agencies in the city.

Aid and promote the health and welfare of our community physically, morally, and spiritually.

Advance activities which enhance education and cooperative good works within the wider
community.
